Description | : | A diffusely branched prostrate herb, densely whitish to greyish woolly tomentose. Stems 5-10 (-15) cm long. Leaves spathulate or obovate-spathulate, 3-12 (-15) x 1.5-4 mm, narrowly attenuate at base, mucronate at the apex, hairy above, densely white woolly beneath, single veined, upper leaves densely crowded. Capitula 3-4 mm across, campanulate, congested in terminal clusters, surrounded by the terminal leaves; phyllaries 2-3-seriate, greenish tinged, narrowly elliptic, linear to lanceolate, acute, hyaline at the tip. Disc florets 4-5, bisexual; female florets numerous. Corolla c. 1 mm long, minutely papillose. Pappus setae white, 6-7 in female and 3-4 in bisexual ones. Fl.Per.: November-May. |
